The Hope Centre, Burundi is to be built during 2008/09. Charles & Val Carr and their family will leave Aberdeen and head for Burundi during July 2008 and will begin the process of surveying, planning and resourcing this essential project designed to hose a family of over 40 orphan children acquired by Pastor Leonard Tuyishimire and his wife Jollie. Henderson School Uganda - Government regulations on safety have meant that schools around Uganda are being inspected to see if they meet the standards required. This is of course good but it does mean that poor schools are required to find resources to meet government directives without any government help. Click Here to see a report on Henderson School.

Mission International Teams 2008 - Four teams will head for different parts of the world during 2008. The first will be a team of three to Burundi to view the site and possible designs for the Hope Centre in Burundi. To read the blog of this trip click here. A second team will visit Burundi in July August 2008 hosted by REMA an indigenous Burundian NGO. A third team will be going to India to work alongside India Village Ministries, their mandate is to serve the IVM team and to work alongside them as they implement projects for the poor. Finally a team from Menzieshill High School in Dundee Scotland will be heading for Gaba, Uganda to work with ARM a local church based organisation. To see the Teams blog site click here.
Star School - Rwanda - Rev Nathan Amooti Rusengo has followed his dream of building a school to educate poor children and give them the opportunity of reaching their full potential. Star School is designed for this purpose. To see how this venture is progressing click here.
Rema Ministries - The Rema team have served the Burundian refugees from their own place of exile during the last 15 years, due to civil unrest in Burundi.
